How to Connect with a Network of Mentors to Thrive Personally and Professionally
Ellen A. Ensher, Ph.D.
Happy National Mentoring Month! In the spirit of national mentoring month, I am offering a webinar through Northwestern University on Wednesday, January 27 at from 10-11 am PST (12-1 CST) on how to connect with a network of mentors. This will extend my Tedx talk of a few years ago on how to get a mentor. The webinar will dive into how mentoring can be used an approach to navigate through both personal and professional challenges and opportunities as well as discuss mentoring success strategies. It’s only $5.00 per person so is a small investment which can pay off big for you.
Here is the webinar description:
Research shows that people who have a network of mentors make more money, get more promotions, and are better able to navigate through life’s challenges and defining moments than those without mentors. In this webinar, you will learn how to connect with a network of different types of mentors using three essential steps. Attendees will leave the webinar with a solid understanding of how mentoring benefits them both personally and professionally and how to develop a lineage of mentors and protégés, which is important at every stage of your career. Specific strategies for developing an action plan to connect with mentors will be shared that attendees can implement right away.
Please click here to register. When you register, Northwestern will ask you for school and class year which is NOT required. Leave blank if you are not an alumnus of Northwestern. After that, follow the prompts and enter your credit card information and you are good to go. Note, you may watch with a guest if you like as well. I would like this to be accessible to as many people as possible.
Hope to see you online!!
