Guess who’s back on TikTok?!
Being able to connect with my Zoomer students this year on the popular app – through my Do’s and Don’ts of Online Class TikTok series – was really fun! I am always eager to learn new ways to reach my students, and TikTok presented a great opportunity to engage with them in a fun, different and relevant way.
So let’s talk about procrastination. We would be hard-pressed to find someone who hasn’t struggled at some point with procrastination. But the good news is, like most things we struggle with in terms of productivity, there are strategies we can use to improve.
Setting goals and deadlines is a really powerful strategy for combatting procrastination. When we set goals, it’s important to write them down. It adds accountability. And to take the accountability one step further, consider looping someone in and asking them to help you with your deadline. You will be more likely to stick to it.
Anddddd when you meet your deadline successfully, don’t be afraid to reward yourself! Incorporating incentives into your productivity strategy can really help in getting things done.
